How the Ticket Pool Works

Each raffle has a predetermined number of tickets available for purchase. Every ticket sold receives a unique ticket number, which is entered into the raffle's official ticket pool.

Each raffle operates independently, meaning tickets purchased for one raffle are only eligible for that specific prize.

Each raffle remains open until all available tickets in the established ticket pool have been sold. Once the final available ticket is sold, the ticket pool closes, and we no longer accept additional entries.

Ticket Numbers

Every ticket purchased is automatically assigned a unique ticket number.

Your ticket numbers are available through:

• Your account dashboard
• Ticket Search
• Your confirmation email (when applicable)

Ticket numbers are assigned automatically to ensure every participant has an equal opportunity to win.

Odds of Winning

Each valid raffle ticket represents one entry and has an equal chance of being selected as the winning ticket.

The odds of winning are determined by the maximum ticket pool established for each raffle. For example, if a raffle has a maximum ticket pool of 200 tickets and you purchase one ticket, your odds of winning are 1 in 200. If you purchase two tickets, your odds are 2 in 200, and so on.

Each raffle remains open until all available tickets in the established ticket pool have been sold. Once the raffle sells out, ticket sales close and the drawing process begins.

The maximum ticket pool for each raffle is clearly displayed on the individual raffle page so participants can determine their odds of winning before purchasing a ticket.

Random Winner Selection

Once the ticket pool closes, one winning ticket is randomly selected from all eligible entries received for that raffle.

Every ticket has an equal chance of being selected.

Winning entries are selected in accordance with the drawing procedures described on this page and any additional conditions stated on the applicable raffle listing.

Live Drawings

To promote transparency and fairness, raffle drawings are conducted live whenever possible.

Live drawings may be streamed on:

• Damascus Fire Raffle website
• Facebook
• Other official Damascus Fire Department social media platforms

Participants are encouraged to watch, but you do not need to be present to win.

Drawing Schedule

Raffles do not have a predetermined drawing date. Each raffle remains open until all available tickets have been sold.

Once a raffle sells out, we will schedule the drawing and announce the date and time on our Live Drawing page and/or official Damascus Fire Department social media channels.

Because Damascus Fire Department is an active emergency response organization, drawing schedules may occasionally need to be adjusted due to emergency calls or other unforeseen circumstances. We will communicate any changes as soon as reasonably possible.

Winner Notification

Once a winner has been confirmed, Damascus Fire Department will contact the winner using the information provided during checkout.

Please ensure your email address and phone number are accurate when purchasing tickets.

Winning participants may also be announced on our:

• Facebook
• Other official communication channels

Winners have thirty (30) days following the drawing to claim their prize and complete any required verification or documentation. Damascus Fire Department will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner during this period. If the prize remains unclaimed after 30 days, it will revert to Damascus Fire Department, subject to applicable law.
